At Samea Equestrian, we recognize that achieving sustainability is an ongoing journey. While we may not be perfect yet, we've taken meaningful steps toward reducing our environmental footprint, starting with the materials we choose for our products.

Breeches

Our breeches are made from 75% recycled polyester, sourced from plastic bottles, straws, and containers. This eco-friendly material matches the durability and quality of virgin polyester. Additionally, recycled polyester is soft, lightweight, and gentle on the skin. Due to its resistance to UV rays, it's perfect for horse riders.

Notably, its production requires 59% less energy compared to virgin polyester, leading to a significant reduction in carbon emissions.

We want our products to last a long time. That’s why we keep our collections in neutral colors that will never go out of fashion. It's important to know, that the recycling process can influence color consistency. As a result, colors may vary slightly between batches, adding a unique character to each pair of breeches.

Sustainable Packaging: Paper over plastic

Aligning with our commitment to sustainability, we will not use plastic bags to pack each product individually. Each order is shipped in our recyclable premium cardboard boxes. Cardboard is one of the most sustainable packaging materials, derived from the renewable resource of wood. Its production is less taxing on the environment compared to plastic. Our boxes are free from toxic inks, ensuring they are biodegradable and recyclable.

E-commerce experiences a much higher return rate than in-store purchases. Our goal is to minimize unnecessary exchanges and returns. Therefore we've made the decision not to offer free return shipping, encouraging you to consider your product and

What you as a customer can do:

Take care of your clothes and always read the washing lable. Breeches are made of durable fabric but we still need to take care of it. Sometimes we can safe resources with just airing them after one use, washing them is not always necessary! Also read our care guide for more information.
